This site (!edm) was going to be called !toy, until it was found out that the site already existed somewhere near New York. Unfortuntely, by the time we realized this, it did some really odd things to the alias program on !alberta at the time Aliasing has never been a problem in this regard. Our UUCP map entry does not mention our Tut as just "tut" at all. I just checked it to be sure; it is always fully-qualified. I reiterate: Within a Usenet Path: line, our Tut is unique, because he will show up as a neighbor of osu-cis and/or bgsuvax. That's all. That's quite unique, assuming that no one tries to be "smart" and screws it up. So non-domainified replies will reach here correctly. The From:, Sender:, Message-ID:, and whatever other lines mentioning his name always use the full domain name, which is guaranteed unique. Thus, the problem is still only that stuff from our Tut will not get into Finland because of the presence of !tut! in the Path: line, and vice versa. I will fix that as soon as other fires die down, so that he shows up in full-domain form in the Path: line as well. -- Karl
