In the Zenith Z-100 world which contains both an 8085 and a 8088, there is a ZCPM program that either emulates CPM from the command line to run CP/M programs or converts them to run under MSDOS directly. I think it uses the 8085 secretly, but programs using the NEC V20 are avaiable to perform in almost the same way. The answer is - it can be done.
