Sender: Minix operating system To: Local Redistribution Reply-to: INFO-MINIX@UDEL.edu Comments: Warning -- original Sender: tag was mmdf@UDEL.EDU Comments: To: info-minix@UDEL.EDU Hello - Some time ago I tried booting MINIX 1.1 on a Tandy Model 4000.. and saw the boot message pop up. Unfortunately, the hardware was not set to MINIX requirements and I could not continue the load. However, after having tried 1.1 on about 10 different machines, I was reasonably confident that it would run on a 4000. Has anyone tried MINIX 1.[12?] on other '386-based AT-style hardware? Please respond with e-mail direct.. if enough queries/requests, I'll summarize and post to the group.
