I've recently added another program to our molecular modeling software system that allows the user to sketch 2-D structures on a GPX display window. As this is not something that I would (ever?) want to do on a Tek 4105, it does not use the graphics library mentioned in the previous posting. Rather, it uses a collection of UIS$ routines in their full glory to get the job done. Yes, the code is written in Fortran under VMS, but several of the DEC extensions are REQUIRED (such as structure/record) to make it fly. I think this code would be useful as a prototype for GPX development (if there IS such a thing), as it opens several windows, plays with menus and tries to be clever with several AST's. If anybody is interested, please get in touch and I'll email you a copy (~900 lines). If anybody reading this is actively DOING GPX development, please let me know (so I don't have to reinvent quite so many wheels...).
