Message-ID: <8712231640.AA03858@sccgate.scc.com> Date: 23 Dec 87 16:40:22 GMT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Organization: The ARPA Internet Lines: 14 Apparently last week's attempt to patch around one of the problems in PSN 7.0, the problem being hanging X.25 virtual circuits originating on 1822 hosts, has been removed. At 1900 hours yesterday the problems caused by the patch still plagued our gateway. But, since approximately 0200 hours today, we have been able to maintain normal reachability with our EGP peers. I assume the change occured between those hours. My question is, did this occur on purpose or can I expect imminent redisconnection? As troublesome as the orignal problem in 7.0 is, it doesn't compare to the troubles caused by "The Patch". Mike ps: I've certainly learned my lesson, I'll never mention the problem with 7.0 again, please just don't disconnect me again.
