I have been reading Data Communications magazine but I would like to find other (more TCP/IP oriented) sources of information. If anyone out on the net has any experience with networking manufacturers I am currently trying to gather some info on who manufactures reliable, reasonably priced 9.6-64 kb modems suitable for use with SLIP. I am also interested in hearing about experiences with microwave or laser transmision of either TCP/IP or SLIP over short (up to 2 miles) distances.
