Can we please restrict NetHack discussion to rec.games.hack? Granted, bugfixes seem to belong in comp.sources.bugs, but when they start getting followed-up by discussion, it gets outa hand. Comp.sources.d seems toally inappropriate: we have our own newsgroup (rec.games.hack), why take another??? I think the majority of rec.games.hack readers (myself included) are interested in nethack bugs/bugfixes. I doubt the same is true for comp.sources.d and comp.sources.bugs. Followups have been (hopefully) directed to rec.games.hack ONLY. Please don't think I'm flaming -- personally, I'm waiting for the 2.3 official bugfixes and a COMPLETE guide on how to bring it up bug-free on a PC. But I don't think discussion should span three newsgroups. --Erik Erik Bailey / 7 Oak Knoll \ (USENET courtesy of ihnp4!think!ejb ( Arlington, MA 02174 ) Thinking Machines Corp., ejb@think.com \ (617)643-0732 / Cambridge, MA)
