Oh no...not again!  I appeal to everyone's instinct to post responses
in this discussion: please make sure that your posting is not solely
on personal preferences about how you like your "tasking" on a
computer.  Otherwise I fear that we will have YAMXIBTYXW (yet another
"my <x> is better than your <x>" war).

I am glad that there are people out there who enjoy *both* ends of the
"tasking" spectrum...it provides a varitey of views and choices.
However, is it really necessary to convince everyone of WHY one end of
the spectrum is better than the other?  I think *both* ends
(multitasking and single-tasking) are valid, and I am glad I work on
*both* types of machines....
