Lines: 19 Bill Hawes (of conman and ARexx fame) has a new shell coming out in February. Completely CLI compatible, plus aliases, ARexx support, pipes (if you're running conman), resident commands (he checksums the commands) and a very versatile prompt. I've been testing it; one of the options I have enabled is to display current dir in the title bar. Another option that I don't use is to display the return code in the prompt. There are a number of other prompt options. Right now the shell has no built-in commands. Bill is thinking about putting in commands like IF and the usual script commands, since they're small and would make scripts run MUCH faster. I don't make any money from Bill, etc... ..Bob -- Bob Page, U of Lowell CS Dept. page@ulowell.edu ulowell!page "I've never liked reality all that much, but I haven't found a better solution." --Dave Haynie, Commodore-Amiga
