Summary: Need FFT program desperately. Keywords: FFT,Fast,Fourier,Transform Message-ID: <74@ritcv.UUCP> Date: 7 Jan 88 02:24:41 GMT Reply-To: ell2948@ritcv.UUCP (PUT YOUR NAME HERE) Organization: Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY Lines: 27 First, this is my first attempt at posting. Please forgive me if it looks very bad. I hope it goes on the net. Anyway, my need is great, as they say. What I am looking for is an FFT program for the Amiga. I am an Imaging Science student at RIT and need this program to show some people around here what an Amiga can do. They are presently using a PDP/11 and a Mac, etc. What I would like it to do is load an image (B/W is fine) take the FFT, display the real and imaginary and power spectrum (chosen from menus). Then I would like to be able to 'paint' over the frequency space (edit individual values), and then back transform to see the difference. I would do it myself, but not knowing C, it is unlikely. If anyone is interested, I do have the code necessary (in Fortran or Pseudo-code). If anyone knows of a program that exeists now to do even a simple FFT, DFT, or any variation thereof, I would gladly recompense the author. Thank You very much, Tyler Wilson Center for Imaging Science Rochester Institute of Technology Rochester, NY 14623 Phone (call collect if you like): 716-272-0170
