True; I've a MACH 3.5 (bought from A.P.P.L.E) which is the same (and if there's really a ZipChip out there somewhere, it has the same feature), but an accelerator is an expensive option. I've got 2 //e's but elected not to buy an accelerator for the second one (speed up the processor and all it really does is make you aware of how much time you actually spend in disk I/O which doesn't get any faster). Accelerators in one form or another run $150-$200. Seems to me you can buy a 65C02 all by its lonesome for about $12 (NOTE: the accelerated chip is a 65C02C <-- extra 'C' on the end - which CAN'T simply be plugged in where the 6502 is ). --------------------- ARPA: sewall%uconnvm.bitnet@cunyvm.cuny.edu Murphy A.
