  I have COPYII PLUS versio0n 8 and it appears to have a block editor
you have a choice to toggle between sectors or blocks, for instance,
i needed to change byte $3a in block $216 and had no problem doing it.
My knowlege is fairly limited , so if this is not a block editor, I
would like to know.  Hope you solve your problem.
