Some months ago my C64 went dead.  I sent it off to MIDLAND COMPUTER
SERVICES in Texas.  They fixed it in a week and sent it back 2nd
day air.  No problems since.  Check out the classifieds in COMPUTER
SHOPPER. There are a number of repair centers advertising in the
JAN issue.  I'm sure they are honest, hardworking types.  After all,
how many chips are in the thing ?
