I am very pleased with what I have seen so far. Much better than our 9000/540, which in itself is a good machine (I love the hardware - pity the 500 series was closed!). My 350 is an AIM bundled system (less Prolog) plus X windows and FORTRAN77. As far as I know there exists an implementation of the REDUCE Symbolic Algebra Package for HP CommonLisp on 350. Since I have heard absoultely nothing from Rand or U Utah as a result of my letters to them I would like to hear from anybody at HP (Martin Griss?) on the status of REDUCE on HP machines (350 and/or Integral PC - we have both in addition to the 540). Please reply in any way you find convenient.
