That's not correct. At this site the message was in comp.sys.ibm.pc. It
started with something like "this group will soon be moderated" followed
by a set of ground rules.

Again, the message was worded "... keep discussion out of this group and
send it to comp.sys.ibm.pc." There would have been no confusion if (a)
the message was no cross posted, and (b) the group name was used instead
of "this group."
