     I'm looking for a set of subroutines or a device driver which will
support PC serial ports in full-duplex with reasonable buffering.
Is anything available for download?

     Incidentally, what does the COM driver offer in OS/2?  The OS/2
reference manual glosses over the issue.  Since one cannot go around the
driver under OS/2, one would hope that the services offered are more useful
than those offered under MS-DOS.
