   There has been a lot of discussion (and flames) in comp.unix.xenix about
this. To summarize our local experience, Microport is cheaper. It also has
serious serial-port and hard-disk driver problems, and at least 4 times per
week gives a double-panic.
XENIX is reputed to behave much better. I have no experience to back up that
claim.
XENIX will cost about $250 more (discount mailorder) than Microport.
