Since this sort of thing is possible, it is very advisable for everybody
to go slow on their flames ...

One of the things I have noticed in the two years that I have now been
pariticipating in USENET is that everybody is so darn quick to flame whenever
they disagree with something -- can't we disagree in a civil and polite manner,
especially in an environment where you can never be sure that what you
perceive is actually what the originator intended?
