R. Smith Consulting, New Brunswick, NJ Lines: 26 OK, I've scraped about $1500 together, and I know what I want. The challenge is for you to put together the best package. I want: A PC/XT or AT compatible (very compatible) with: at least 1 floppy, at least 7 slots and, An at least 20MB hard drive, A serial port and at least 1200 baud Hayes compatible or internal version of same A parallel port A monitor A monitor card (if mono, Herc. comp) I'd like to go color if possible. A printer is optional if you can fit it into the $1500-$2000 budget. Service is a minimum necessity, if they guarantee that it shouldn't break in normal use, and are able to back it up, that's fine. A portable is fine, but a laptop isn't. So who can come up with the best package?
