Well, Farallon connectors seem to want to use the yellow and black pairs to transmit and receive, rather than the red and green. The reason for this is so that it will work with newer telephone systems that use the red and the green pairs only. I wouldn't be surprised if the EasyNet connectors were using the red and green. If you want to get inventive and like to play, here's something to try: swap the green and red with the yellow and the black before it goes into the wall. I'm using a Farallon connector and the rest of the world isn't. When I made up a little adaptor, my Farallon connector worked fine. (Which is good because it easier to find long telephone wires then it is to piece together short AppleTalk cables. Especially up the sides of buildings...) -- "It's gonna take money..."
