(2) It seems as if many new games are taking Mac II compatibility into account, though it's hard to say how many of the existing games will be rewritten. Unless games (particularly arcade games) and portability are a big concern, I'd go for the II. I prefer the II's larger, color screen, as it feels less cramped and easier on the eyes. The open architecture is also a big plus.
