(201) 747-4700 Lines: 18 OK, this may be a trivial question to MAC-experts, so please mail responses, no need to see 100 postings in response. A friend has an HP LaserJet Series II. He is also getting a Mac. How slim are the chances that he can use that Laser Printer instead of buying an Apple LaserWriter? I.E., does somebody sell a PostScript cartidge or the like to allow him to use that printer? My original answer to him was to buy the Apple LaserWriter (we have that setup and it works great). He is not thrilled about owning two laser printers. As another possibility, were he to find a buyer for the HP, should he buy the Apple LaserWriter or are there other Lasers that fit the bill and are more price or feature competitive? Maybe a Laser Printer that he can still use with the IBM PC and with his Mac and be reasonably priced. In other words, what is a good choice for a Laser for a Mac? Thanx much.
