I just downloaded the package of utilities for using snd resources on the Mac, ie Sound Mover, sound->snd 1.0, ibeep2, etc. Not having any sound files in snd format I tried to convert some using sound->snd 1.0. It created a sound mover suitcase file but it was empty (when opened it did not contain any snd resources). OK I said to myself, let me get sound files from sumex-aim. After down loading 200K worth of files I have a single file with a collection of snd resources but have no idea how to get them into a form that the Sound Mover understands. I know ResEdit will let me copy the resources but into what? Ibeep2 wants the sound files in a file in the system folder; what kind of file? When I pull down the Control Panel and select Ibeep2 no sounds are available. Can someone help me figure out how to make use of these files; and to get them into a form that all these nifty sound utilities use? I'm running a Mac SE with 4.2/6.0 and am not using Multifinder through all of this. Thanks Scott
