Subject: Trouble w/ Dataframe drives

At work, we have a Mac+ with a Dataframe 20 (which has had the XP
upgrade).  Twice during the past 6 months it has lost its volume
information and had to be reinitialized.  This has occured under
both versions 4.1 and 3.2 of the system.

We did not have a SCSI terminator on the drive.

Now, who has had similar experience, or ideas as to what causes
this and how to do a better fix than reinitialize and hope to
recover something later w/ mac zap.
