A summary: Smart Alarms and MIND will remind you of appointments, although I can't find info on MIND in MacUser. Excel and Hypercard were suggested for creating a lookup/checkout program for a Library. I started using the Mac about a year ago at school and since then I have become quite a MacSnob. ( :-) ) Now, I am soooo tired of the hassle necessary to use the Mac's at the University that I decided to get one of my own. Apple's very kind in offering a discount for the Mac to those who write programs for the machine. What I would like to know is: how does their price compare to the University's. I can get what I want from the University now, or can I save a few (or MORE) $$$ by waiting? I want to get: Mac II w/ 40 Meg HD (separate prices please) Color RGB w/ video card Extended Keyboard If someone at Apple or a current Developer would send me the current prices for the above through the Developer program, I would _greatly_ apreciate it.
