We have figured out a neat way to get two (or more) fields to scroll
in sync, side by side. It involves placing your own thumb, gray region,
and up/down buttons over the standard ones and capturing the normal
mousedowns to these parts. We are using the technique to have one
field in a large bold font, and the other in a finer smaller detailed
font. It gives you the effect of mixed styles in a single text field.
I hope to post the technique in the next week.
