I have a Quattro modem on a dial in line that I would like to work in 8-bit no parity mode at login as once the modem has spoken 7-bit even, it assumes the whole world is 7-bit even from then on! (Stupid modem)! So how do I make a tty line be 8-bit even before login? (98xe running OSx 4) Any help gratefully received.
