E.E. Dept. Provo,Utah Lines: 20 Keywords: TeX-special-postscript I need a mechanism for including graphics in our TeX and LaTeX output. Our microvax runs 4.3 BSD and shares a Laserwriter with several Macs on an appletalk network using a Kinetics bridge and the K-Spool software. We have the TeX82 distribution from uw, with dvi2ps (version 2.0) from mit. This claims to be able to support the inclusion of Mac produced postscript files, but a closer look shows that the '@-special' macros in tex.ps were written for an earlier version of Laserprep. I need to know if there is a version of tex.ps for dvi2ps capable of supporting included Mac postscript files prepared for use on a Laserwriter using version 5 of the Laserprep (\av 66 def). We also have berkeley's 'gremlin' picture editor. So a gremlin-to-postscript filter would be useful. I would appreciate any leads or information that is available on these topics.
