I've been taught that yacc is the preferred tool for writing compilers
(or bison, I suppose). But I wonder if yacc is suitable for writing an
incremental compiler. Is it ? Can anyone refer me to books which explain
how one writes incremental compilers ? And does anyonoe have experience
doing so with yacc ? I would be interested in hearing about what it is
like. Thank you.
