Xenix 2.1.3 implement style and diction as command files.  In them a
bunch of commands are connected by the '^' character.  The caret is an
obsolete form of pipe not implemented in ksh.  Just change the carets to
pipes and the programs will work. 

Hope this helps someone. I use these programs on anything I write as a
last pass before considering it done.
