I guess I should make "an official announcement", since you will be

		MIT X Consortium

Jim is my first staff member hired in the newly inaugurated MIT X
Consortium.  He joins just in time, as we begin the push for the next
release.  We are hoping for a release in the second half of February.
It is unlikely you will see any more official patches to the current
release.  We are fixing lots of things, but have no time to export them.
