Everything else (right now) is being expired in 17 days. This is after the christmas break, though. When everyone gets started posting again I expect to have to shorten the timeout to about 2 weeks. We run the lib portion out of /usr but our UUCP queues are on the same partition (a "g" partition on a CDC 9766 drive, ~67Mb). As late as the beginning of last summer, we were able to keep almost everything around for 3 weeks (with room to spare). Now I time out news so as to keep about 6-10 meg spare for the UUCP traffic. This is sometimes as little as 12 days. -- Jeff Lee Internet: jeff@gatech.edu UUCP: ...!{decvax,hplabs,ihnp4,linus,rutgers}!gatech!jeff
