As several hundred of you have pointed out in mail messages that range from
angry to incredulous, the numbers in this month's "cost per reader" column in
the monthly arbitron report are ridiculously large. I haven't had time to go
look at why they have suddenly, after years of working well, developed a bug. 
But I do know about this problem and there is no need for further alarm.
