We also are the sole news source for most of the sites in Kentucky (geographical area). We also are a major news source for some of the bitnet people. We also have a reliable mailer which is staffed by an adept person (me). yet we're not on the backbone ... On the other hand we don't pay out many hundreds of dollars per month on phone bills. Instead, our backbone links are over the Internet with NNTP. (We also exchange news with 2 other sites with NNTP nrl-cmf and husc6). I think it's a club ... :-) -- <---- David Herron -- The E-Mail guy <---- or: {rutgers, uunet, cbosgd}!ukma!david, david@UKMA.BITNET <---- <---- Winter health warning: Remember, don't eat the yellow snow!
