Best to just sneak whatever you can into comp.dcom.modems. On a related subject, I just got some information from Telebit on their modem. It looks like a nice unit, especially at the price, but the info I have does not describe much in detail. In particular, there is little or no reference to LZ compression, error correction, uucp-spoofing mode, and all the other good things I've heard about Telebit on the net. I'd be happy to learn more about this unit, if anybody wants to enlighten me. steve
