I'm running news 2.11 at patchlevel 14, and I tried to add the
new newsgroup, comp.microport via 'inews -C comp.microport'. It
seemed to work, but when I run 'make update' I get the message
"nonstandard newsgroup". Furthermore, it seems that the machines that
I feed must also explicitly make this newsgroup if they are to get
this group. I thought that the news software makes new groups automatically
when articles from new groups come in? There was no mail for news
stating that a news group must be created either. What am I doing wrong?
