Message-ID: <10251@shemp.UCLA.EDU> Date: 8 Jan 88 21:28:10 GMT Sender: root@CS.UCLA.EDU Reply-To: wales@CS.UCLA.EDU (Rich Wales) Organization: UCLA CS Department, Los Angeles Lines: 19 I am looking for books, journal articles, or reports of recent research regarding electronic mail systems. In particular, I would welcome any info regarding software systems which people use to manage electronic mail. I am interested here in systems which help people store their mail for later reference -- e.g., MH (and its "folder" capability). I'm particularly interested in any systems which take an unusual, orig- inal approach to the organization of mail -- anything which presents to the user an interface radically different from MH or Berkeley Mail. I am *not*, however, really looking for descriptions of mail transport systems (e.g., Sendmail, MMDF). -- Rich Wales // UCLA Computer Science Department // +1 (213) 825-5683 3531 Boelter Hall // Los Angeles, California 90024-1596 // USA wales@CS.UCLA.EDU ...!(ucbvax,rutgers)!ucla-cs!wales "Sir, there is a multilegged creature crawling on your shoulder."
