I had to put in a new hard disk, which set me back some. However, I now have a full 67 Meg, instead of my original 40, which is really nice. It also seems to be a faster drive than the old one. If looney!cmv ever gets to post the info on using the whole disk, I'll have 80 Meg.... I was lucky enough to have a backup that was only about 2 or 3 weeks old when skeeve died, so I did not lose a whole lot of work. Anyway, I have upgraded to News 2.11.14. The news source and rn source are available once again for "anonymous" uucp from skeeve: phone: +1 404 633 1813 login: getnews password: getnews Files are in /usr/spool/uucppublic: -rw-r--r-- 1 news users 224077 Dec 19 20:43 rn.cpio.Z -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 67563 Dec 18 15:33 smail.Z -rw-r--r-- 1 news users 262819 Dec 19 22:54 src.cpio.Z Smail.Z is the latest version of smail, for those who are interested. I'll be posting the latest news patches in unix-pc.sources. Anyway, I'm really glad to have my machine back in shape, and to be back on the network. -- Arnold Robbins -- The Basement Computer UUCP: { gatech, emory, gt-eedsp, bakerst, gladys }!skeeve!arnold /bin/csh: Just Say NO!
