This may not be what you want to hear but after keeping fish for a couple of years Ive developed an attitude towards sick fish. Unless the fish is very near and dear to you, throw it out. I know it sounds cruel and mean and you may even hate me for saying it but just think how much this disease can cost you. How much does the treatment cost for a $5 or $6 damsel? What if the fish dies of the disease and you never really get rid of the disease? Your next fish could get it. Especially with how much salt water fish cost, you could really be talking big bucks. Now don't get me wrong, I have treated some fish that have developed an attachment to but this sounds like a fish you just purchased. Sorry for the pesimistic attitude... -- Ken Dalka (Bell Labs) ihnp4!ihlpg!dalka IE 2F-518 (312) 416-7437
