Apologies if this is a redundant topic -- I'm not on the distribution list. Please post replies to philf@med-isg.stanford.edu or pfernandez@sumex-aim.stanford.edu. I am looking for recommendations for 9600bpd dial-up modems. Specifically, I want to identify a modem brand/model to use as a replacement for current Hayes 2400bps modems for communication between IBM-PC's and a Cisco ASM terminal server. Ideally, the modem would be Hayes command set compatible and would assert modem controls (e.g., Ring Indicate) on the answer side. Further, I'm looking for the lowest cost option I can find. I'd appreciate any recommendations/advice. phil
