DSF is available only in card deck because it supports a and the following operating system versions: OS/VS1 OS/VS2 MVS MVS/XA DOS/VSE AF3 S/370 As you see, there is not CMS support but S/370 mode is ok. It may be a program -except DSF can do the same thing- in non-IBM products but there is no CMS version of DSF. You are right for your part. IPL'ing a card image copy of a program is a pain but would not a CMS copy module of DSF be much larger than its IPL'able copy. IPL'able card deck contains over 4400 records. I suggest you to send your comments to your IBM representative and branch office with your bad compliments(??!!).
