Message-ID: <186@intek01.UUCP> Date: 23 Jan 88 09:57:16 GMT Organization: Intek, Inc., Bellevue WA Lines: 11 Posted: Sat Jan 23 04:57:16 1988 We're currently running Xenix on a 286 machine, but will be moving to the 386 as time/resources permit. The only Xenix 286 C++ implementation that I know of (Glockenspiel/Oasys/Lifeboat) costs nearly $700. I don't know of one at all for ISC Unix 386 or Venix, which are two of the options we're considering when we move up. It seems that it might be worth it for us to buy source from AT&T. Has anyone made this work on the 286? Was it a Herculean task? Would I do better just to bite the bullet and get the Glockenspiel binary version? Thanks in advance for any insight.
