I am interested in obtaining source code for infinite precision arithmetic
in C. Preferably, it should be portable. I am aware of packages such as
bc and dc which run on UNIX but I don't have source code for them and in
any case I don't know if they are portable.

If I can't get something portable, I at least would like to be able to
have source for the systems which I do use, which are: SUN,VAX/UNIX,VAX/VMS
and IBM PC XT.
