Message-ID: <1642@ssc-vax.UUCP> Date: 29 Jan 88 00:36:41 GMT Organization: Boeing Aerospace Corp., Seattle WA Lines: 31 I just got a Sun 3/60 at work ;-) and of course, I love it. I had been developing software on some CAD/CAM Unix system that had ZIP along the lines of suntools programmers library, debuggers, etc. Now, however, I have it all. Anyway, the first thing I ripped open when I got my new toy was dbxtool. After programming in C for over 3 years with NO DEBUGGER whatsoever, dbxtool is a dream come true. However, I have one question: How does one get a running program inside of dbxtool to take input? If I have a scanf() that I "step" to, how can I enter something without dbxtool thinking it is a dbx command? Thanx for the help, ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ "...You may be right, ~ ~ I may be crazy, ~ ~ but it just may be a lunatic ~ ~ you're looking for..." ~ ~ ~ ~ "You May Be Right", Billy Joel ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -- *********************************************************** * David Geary, Boeing Aerospace Co., Seattle, WA * * (206)773-5249. --I disclaim everything I've ever said--* ***********************************************************
