Many large programs run in AAIS prolog on a MAC II the same speed as Quintus compiled on a SUN-3/50, while still maintaining a complete debugging environment. I believe LPA has full toolbox access, AAIS certainly does. Both of these prologs have been shiping commercially for over a year. I not yet seen a non-beta version of ALS prolog, but I have not looked recently (2 months). (Note: I have ties to AAIS, so this biased. However, it is really nice!) - MD
