Message-ID: <8801151926.AA03950@northstar5.Dartmouth.EDU> Date: 15 Jan 88 19:26:16 GMT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Organization: The ARPA Internet Lines: 25 I'm looking for info for two problems. 1. We have VLSI Tools 1986 running on our Sun3/60 with screendumps going to a LaserWriter. This is ok for black and white but we have two IBM plotters (HP 7475A emulators) which we would like to get Magic to output to. Does anyone know if Magic's cif stuff will output over the serial port to the plotters or is there some software available for this purpose. 2. We also feel that the SPICE hooks in VLSI Tools are extremely useful. The problem is that we don't have a SPICE version on our Suns which will output plots to suntools windows. I'm sure with all the Sun systems running on the Berkeley campus that there must be software running SPICE3 outputing graphics to Sun windows. Got any answers??? -Kris Olander System Admin Project NORTHSTAR
