I am a new user of MINIX V1.1 still.  I have a little problem in getting
it working properly on my Epson Equity II computer.  

When I was in monochrome mode with a TTL monitor, some output were blank out
and after about 24 lines the output would start appear again. Initially, I 
suspect it would be the problem of the BIOS that come with Equity that was
causing the get_chrome() routine to return a wrong setup, however, I have
tried to modify the get_chrome() routine to return a fixed value, the problem
persisted.  The funny part is the software works perfectly alright if I am
running it in the color mode with an RGB monitor.

I would certainly appreciate it if somebody can suggest a solution to the 
problem above.
