	I am doing some work with file addressing in operating systems,
and was wondering if anyone could send me pointers to information on
"flat" file-addressing schemes, especially attempts to remove file/
memory-address-space distictions (files treated like memory, along the
lines of MULTICS).  I would also appreciate comments on management
techniques/problems, and compiler support.
