There have been a number of requests for a VMS version of the ARC-style
utilities in common use in MS-DOS environments.  I am in the process of
porting System Enhancements Associates' ARC v5.12 to VMS in my copious
free time - I expect it will take another week or so.  I am also trying
to get in touch with the author of PKARC (compatible with ARC but faster
and better compression) to see if it can be ported.  I will keep you
posted on the status of these efforts.
