I don't know when it will go out of production, but even the weight of existing software won't keep it alive forever. The MIT and CMU distributions of PC-IP both contain public-domain 3C501 drivers in C. The only programming manual I have ever seen is passed from hand to hand as a treasure, and is dated 1983. You could try getting it from 3Com, but I know people who haven't succeeded. jbvb
